About CA Support

CA Support commenced business when Heleda (Theron) du Plessis in her capacity as Human Resource Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers, realized the demand for the recruitment of accounting professionals. What started as recruitment of personnel for accounting positions for PricewaterhouseCoopers clients, spread to personnel for all industries, when CA Support came to light in 1998.

Nadine joined CA Support in 2005 after she gained valuable experience working in the housing and motor industries in Johannesburg and England. She received her B.Consumer Science degree from the University of Stellenbosch in 2000.
Francois Theron
Francois TheronPartner
Francois Theron joined CA Support towards the end of 2011 after a career in the financial services sector with PWC, Capitec Bank and the private group of companies of Dr Christo Wiese. He attended the Cambridge programme for sustainability leadership and was invited to the Daimler World Dialogue in Stuttgart. He has completed his B.A, B.Compt and MBA studies.

Started her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1985 as the first Human Resource Practitioner for the Western Cape. After 25 years experience in Human Resources and consulting, Heleda is now based at our Worcester branch. She holds a Master degree in Social Sciences.

Our Strategic Alliances

Paperpilot: Through interaction with clients of CA Support from the accounting and auditing industry, an opportunity was identified to provide quality company secretarial and statutory services. In August 2013, Sekretari Western Cape was established in partnership with Sekretari in Centurion. After restructuring and a management buy-out the company was rebranded to PAPERPILOT in September 2015.

Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative:

CA Support has created a database of unemployed personnel, categorised in categories of skills, geographic availability and education levels. The only requirements to be included on this database is that the person should have been in a full time position previously and should be unemployed from a full time position for at least a 3 month period. Candidates’ skills and experience will be vetted. We then invite business to use this database if they are looking for people to fill short term- or any contract positions. These roles may be varied across a broad set of skills.

At CA Support we often get in contact with people who has lost their jobs for any number of reasons. Business retrenchments due to the economic climate, downscaling or organizational requirements are the order of the day. Unfortunately these persons may struggle to find employment again and typically fall through the personnel placing cracks.

If we can assist them in finding an opportunity for even a week or a month; that can help them to stay afloat.
